- Verify Employer Status for Netherlands: If targeting the Netherlands, always confirm your prospective employer's status as an IND-recognised sponsor on the official IND public register. A non-recognised sponsor cannot process your Highly Skilled Migrant application.
- Understand French Permit Categories: For France, the June 2025 Talent Permit reforms renamed categories but did not eliminate the nuances. Verify which specific sub-category (e.g., Qualified Employee, EU Blue Card) applies to your job, as each has different salary and contract requirements.
- Check German Degree Recognition (ANABIN): Before applying to Germany, ensure your Indian university and degree are listed with 'H+' status in the ANABIN database (anabin.kmk.org). If not, initiate a ZAB assessment (Statement of Comparability) as early as possible, as it can take 4–6 months.
