But the wide range of choices across the globe can be overwhelming. Choosing the correct country and college, considering budgets and career opportunities, and preparing for various entrance exams – all of this can prove to be daunting. This is where the Institute of Management and Foreign Studies [IMFS] helps guide the students through their options and helps them manoeuvre through the process.

We find joy in hearing from and about our students’ success stories, and we are always there to lend a shoulder in more trying times.
The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) test is a standardized test conducted by Educational Test Services (ETS). It is a multi-stage test designed to measure candidates’ verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing skills. The test reflects the quality of effort that contributes to the overall development of candidates. At IMFS, in addition to the regular teaching pattern, students undergo vigorous training in writing essays. To ensure your success in writing precise and grammatically correct essays, you are also taught basic English grammar and requisite essay composition skills.
SAT is an acronym for Scholastic Assessment Test, a standardized aptitude test. The SAT is an essential step in considering your eligibility for foreign studies. This test is specifically for undergraduate college admissions, typically in the U.S. The student’s college readiness is measured by one’s SAT score, making it essential to perform well. The SAT is administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) in the United States and is developed, published, and scored by the College Board. The test is conducted six times a year.
The Graduate Management Admission Test is a Computer Adaptive Test and includes Verbal, Quantitative, Reasoning, and Analytical Writing questions. Data sufficiency and trouble-solving questions are interspersed through the quantitative section. The verbal section incorporates sentence correction, studying comprehension, and crucial reasoning questions.
The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) has been designed by Education Testing Services (ETS). TOEFL measures the ability of non-native speakers of English to use and understand English as it is spoken, written, and heard in university settings.
The TOEFL Internet-based Test (TOEFL-iBT) tests all four language skills essential for effective communication: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The test helps students exhibit that they have the necessary skills in English needed for success at the college/university level.
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a language ability check for study and immigration, with more than 3 million assessments taken in the past year.
IELTS outcomes are acknowledged by more than 11,000 organizations, including academic establishments, employers, professional associations, and governments in 140 international locations worldwide.
PTE is an acronym for Pearson Language Test, which, as the name suggests, is a test to assess your language skills and competency. The PTE is a requirement to enroll in academic courses in the U.S., Australia, and New Zealand. It assesses the student’s competency in listening, reading, speaking, and writing. It is completed with a computer in a single 3-hour test session. PTE Academic examines real-life academic content, so you can hear excerpts from lectures and view graphs and charts. You will be exposed to a range of accents in the test, from British and American to non-native English speaking.
