In the last 10 years, we have gone from strength to strength! We started our journey in Pune by sending our very first student, Prabhjot Singh to the University of Pennsylvania. Our undergraduate admissions began with Fahad Vora, who undertook a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at Georgia Tech. We haven’t looked back since!

It has been an exhilarating journey with students from colleges such as COEP, PICT, Wadias, AISSMS, MIT WPU, MIT ADT, Modern College, MITCOE, DY Patil, Symbiosis et all. Pune is rightly known as the ‘Oxford of the East’ and attracts students from across India. Hence we have been fortunate to have students from distant locations such as Assam, Bengal, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Kerala, Tamil Nadu – there is scarcely any area where we have not reached. Within Maharashtra, students come in from Aurangabad, Akola, Satara, Nanded, Jalgaon – in short, from every district.

Just as every cloud has a silver lining, the pandemic enabled us to connect with our students online, both for coaching and counselling. We have hence been counselling students in Dubai, Nairobi, Kenya, Kuwait, Oman etc. In fact, we have some students from the US as well!

Sarita Sinha

Ms. Sarita Sinha is a veteran in the field of Education Counselling and Communication Training, with over 40 years of experience. Her qualifications include an M Phil in Applied Linguistics, an MA in English Literature, CELTA - Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults, London, DELTA – Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults, London and Business English Instructor certification from the London Chamber of Commerce.

At IMFS, Ms. Sinha specialises in offering turn- key services for students who wish to study overseas – from exam preparation in GRE/GMAT/IELTS/TOEFL/SAT to university selection, development of application essays, recommendation letters, and visas, not to mention the occasional pep talk when students and parents get slightly overwhelmed !

An MBA in Human Resource Management, Deepti has been with the Pune branch since its inception in 2011. As the senior counsellor, she guides students through the entire process. Whether it’s class scheduling, complicated university forms or visa applications, she is the go to person! As one of the students put it – “I can’t imagine a form that Deepti Mam cannot manage!” Even in the midst of the visa season, you will find her greeting every student and parent with a calm smile and limitless patience!

Jyoti comes to us with an eclectic array of experiences. She has an M.Sc in Microbiology as well as an MS in Psychotherapy. She started her career with Sion Hospital, where she worked for 9 years as a researcher. She then served as the Team Lead with Medusind Solutions, a KPO. She has also worked freelance as a counsellor for several years before joining IMFS. Her role includes providing A to Z guidance for students. With her background and interest in research, you can count upon her to provide detailed information about research opportunities in universities across the world!

Ashvini’s qualifications are amazing - BSc Physics, MBA HR, LLB, LLM, as well as certifications from the British Council, ETS and Pearson! At IMFS, Ashvini has been coaching students in TOEFL/ IELTS/PTE/Duolingo for the last 6 years. She has over 16 years of experience in this field, and has earlier worked with Edwise International, Aussizz Group and Taurus Infotek. Under her guidance, students have excelled in these examinations. It is to her credit that she has enabled students to reach from Band 5 to Band 8 in IELTS!

I feel glad I chose IMFS as I type a review today from the Texas Tech University in the U.S. Haven't met a more knowledgeable person like Sarita Ma'am, humorous person like K.P.
