No. dMAT is not a pass/fail test. Any score between 0–200 is a valid certificate submitted with your APS documents. The median is 100 — scoring below 100 does not disqualify you. Universities decide independently how much weight to give the score, and most have not published a cutoff yet.

dMAT has no traditional syllabus. It tests four question types: Figure Sequences, Mathematical Equations, Latin Squares (Core Module) and the General Academic Module (reading and inference). No textbooks, no chapters — practise the formats under timed conditions.

ECTS measures the academic depth of your degree. Most German Masters require 180 ECTS credits. Most 3-year Indian Bachelor's degrees convert to 150–160 ECTS — below the threshold. 4-year B.Tech and B.E. typically meet 180 ECTS.
